We’d like to invite you to our second session this Tuesday May 5th at 12.30pm where we’ll hear from Chris Zidak from the Bizmaroondah team about support they can offer and from one our members Scott Williams, manager at Le Pine funerals. Join Us Online for Lunch!

Things have certainly changed since our last MBG meeting together and we hope that all our members are safely navigating this new way of living and working. We recognise that some of you will be reduced in your work and others will be inundated, but for all of us there are many changes.

Much of the messaging has been about being “all in this together” and we certainly feel that as a committee. We’d therefore like to take the plunge and venture into an online meeting so that as members we can support one another at this time.

We will hear from a few members in regards to how they are going and will be seeking any questions that, from our group expertise, we may be able to answer.

We have arranged a ZOOM meeting for next Thursday 23rd April at 12.30pm. Bring your lunch!! Please confirm your attendance via your registration on Eventbrite

Business Networking in Maroondah – Aug 13

In the 80’s, Keith Ellis, a champion body builder, was running a gym in the outer East of Melbourne, when he and one of his clients Paul Kirkham, a science graduate, decided to join forces and market one of the products Paul had developed for his personal use.

This was the beginning of a partnership that has endured and grown into one of the leading sports nutrition companies in Australia – Aminoactive Australia!

Their journey has been one of adaptation and resilience. They had no predefined plans – the business just EVOLVED. Their major principle was to ensure that they didn’t take shortcuts and were consistent with the quality of the product they created. The lessons learned were many – join us to hear about this amazing journey that has taken this local company from their kitchen to the world.
